BUYING  RURAL

Be Rural

READY

You wouldn't bring a knife to a gun fight, so why would you bring a city realtor to the country? With so many additional things to consider, it's important to have an agent who understands the market and the complexities of putting together a rural transaction.

When working with buyers, we believe that it's important to educate them. Staying on top of current market conditions is essential to be able to make an informed decision. In order to acquire as much data as possible to guide buyers in their search, we have obtained memberships that provide us with data from more than 18 real estate boards in Ontario.

The education of buyers doesn't end with staying on top of an ever-changing market. It's also important that they're aware of the unique challenges involved with offering on, and owning, a rural property. If you're looking to buy a home in the country for the first time, or if you'd just like a little more information, check out our blog and Buyer Guide.

New properties hit the market on a regular basis. Rather than trying to keep track of them yourself, we like to take care of that and send suitable listings straight to your inbox.

An important thing to note is that not all listings make it to MLS. Some are listed exclusively and others sell before they have the chance to hit the open market. This is why we make sure to stay in touch with our large network of rural sellers and other real estate agents. Our MLS system is a great tool, but it's not the only way to find a home.
